These savoury salmon cornetti make a perfect breakfast, lunch or appetizer because of their versatility. In our humble opinion, this is an amazing recipe and it’s quick and easy to replicate. See the video below if you don’t trust us 🙂
RECIPE:
Salmon Cornetti

INGREDIENTS
- 1 ready-made round short crust pastry (Brisé dough)
- 150 g sliced or smoked salmon
- 8 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 egg
- poppy seeds for topping
- salt and pepper
METHOD
- Switch on the oven at 200 °C
- Roll a cold puff pastry out and divide it into 4 parts.
- Divide every quarter into 2 or 3 parts (if you want make them smaller).
- Spread 1 tbsp of cream cheese on each wedge. Add a 2 or 3 cm sized piece of salmon on each one as well
- Season with salt and pepper
- Starting from the widest part, roll each wedge up tightly
- Brush with slightly beaten egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Place in the fridge for 10 minutes
- Bake in the middle part of the oven for 20-25 min, util they are golden and swollen
