Breakfast cookies have never been this good and simple to preparare! Just a few ingredients and a cup of hot frothy milk will get your day started off right.

INGREDIENTS for around 15-20 pieces
Preparation: 10 min – Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes
- 600 g (5 cups) all-purpose flour
- 9 g (2 tsp) baking powder
- 150 g (3/4 cup) sunflower oil
- 200 g (1 1/2 cup) granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 80 g (1/3 cup) milk
- 1/2 tbsp freshly grated lemon zest
- granulated sugar, to dust
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
In a large bowl, add the eggs, the sugar, the milk, the oil, the freshly grated lemon zest, and the baking powder.
Start kneading pouring the flour a little at the time. Keep on kneading until all the ingredients are well mixed and until obtaining a soft and lightly sticky dough.

In a plate pour a little of granulated sugar. Divide the dough into equal portions (about 15-20). Roll each portion of dough into a log shape. Now roll them into the granulated sugar and place them on the baking tray 1 – 2cm apart.


Bake for about 15-20 minutes, until they begin to turn golden. Let them cool for about 10 minutes.

They look delicious . Here in Australia they call them Nonnas biscuits
