Would like to make your kids happy with a genuine snack? Prepare this delicious crostata! It becomes even more genuine if you make it with a homemade strawberry jam.

INGREDIENTS for a round shallow baking tin (~25cm)
1 dose of pasta frolla
450 gr jam, your favorite flavour.
Make a dose of pasta frolla as we described here (link). After removing from the fridge, knead the dough a couple of times to soften it up again on a lightly floured surface. Put aside 1/3 of the dough. Roll out the rest to 0.5 cm thickness, transfer to the greased (butter and flour) tin ensuring that the base and sides are completely covered. Trim any extra dough. Fill with the jam. Then, with the dough taken aside, make strips to create a lattice finish, or shape it to any desired form, and decorate the surface. Bake in pre heated oven at 180° for 35-40 minutes, until the crostata is golden -brown.
Tips: your kids will love this crostata with a glass of elderflower juice!
